Kleider machen Leute Book Redesign
As part of the project „The Library“ the book „Kleider machen Leute“ by Gottfried Keller was redesign. The newly designed book follows the overall topic of the book and protends to be a magazine rather than a book. It displays parts of fashion pictures, has the original book text in the middle of the spreads and commentaries pilled up like clothes stacks in a closet.
The commentaries are sorted by importance. There are three different sizes, the biggest serves as chapter divisions. As another design element text extract from were taken from the book to create a playfull element on the pages.
